There’s a photo of me next to my Dad’s brand new Yugo!

Wow. Was the gas tank full or empty? That affects whether I consider it a NP or CP.
Just kidding. That’s pretty awesome. Those were pretty neat, if not strange, cars.

I have driven a Yugo.
And although fun, it was a piece of crap compared to a Renault Le Car.
Which says something.

The Yugo looks better than a Le Car. Three wheel studs? Crime against nature.

Have you ever sat inside a Yugo?

Nope. But the Le Car was pretty uninspiring.

Good morning Berang,
It’s not the case that I would ever purchace either one, but my taste in automobiles definitely leans toward practicality and sensibility over performance looks and spiff. I always thought the Le Car, along with its name, just wasn’t a serious car, and while perhaps it’s a petty thing, the three lug nut deal just bothered me. I think the Yugo just
looks
more sensible. I would expect the Yugo to be
maintanable
, if not
dependable
. I’d think that with a little bit of effort, you could keep one up. Not that I’m interested in trying...
